Objectives

The duration of the summer internship for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in years I - IV is 4 weeks and for students of year V the single block internship (compact period) is 26 weeks.
It can be carried out in an open circuit pharmacy (community pharmacy) or in a hospital pharmacy (clinic) in the locality of residence (years I - III) and mandatory in the university centre for students of years IV and V.
The role of the internship is to help students to integrate into professional life and to work in the pharmacy community in order to give the knowledge they have acquired to patients, colleagues or collaborators, in short to apply in practice everything they have learned during their years at university.

General objectives are represented by the improvement of the education and training of student pharmacists during their internship.

Specific objectives are represented by:

- more efficient development and use of human resources;

- developing flexible lifelong learning pathways;

- support during the internship;

- teamwork with pharmaceutical professionals;

- labour market orientation, training and counselling;

- employment support.
