The University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova grants the following categories of scholarships from the scholarship fund allocated from the state budget, according to the law:
- performance scholarships.
- merit scholarships.
- social aid scholarships.
Scholarships are granted throughout the duration of academic activities, which encompass lectures, seminars, laboratory work, projects, practical training, and the winter and summer examination sessions, as outlined in the official academic calendar. These scholarships are awarded exclusively to full-time students enrolled in state-funded positions.
