On 24 May 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. PhD Marius Eugen Ciurea, received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).
Founded in 1925, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest university in Greece, with 10 faculties consisting of 40 schools and a single faculty-school, with almost 90,000 students and over 1,600 teaching staff. (https://www.auth.gr/)
