2. Definition and general structure of the epidemiological process

  • sources of pathogens - source fighting measures
  • ways and routes of transmission of pathogens-measures to prevent and fight transmission routes
  • population responsiveness, responsiveness, non-responsiveness, resistance, immunity, population immune background (assessment methods), measures to increase resistance, immunoprophylaxis: active and passive - 1 hour

3. Factors favouring the epidemiological process

  • natural: cosmic, meteorological, climatic, geographical
  • economic and social: living and working conditions - 1 hour

4. Forms of manifestation of the epidemiological process

  • sporadic, endemic, epidemic and pandemic manifestations/associated forms - 1 hour
