YEAR I

I.Discipline Objectives

a) Improve students' health and harmonious physical development.

b) Raising the general level of motor skills and mastering the basics by practising some branches of sport.

c) Forming a practical knowledge system of multilateral training.

d) Forming beliefs and skills for independent exercise.

II.Status of the Discipline in the Curriculum

Semester I: 30 practical courses (C.P) - 15 weeks

Semester II: 30 practical courses (C.P) - 15 weeks

Form of assessment: Check in the form of a test in the summer session. Students' work is assessed by marks.

III.Structure by years of study

This programme is intended for first year General Medicine students

IV.Topics of practical courses

 

Semester I:

1. Getting to know the student body, communicating the requirements of the department, the tests and the control rules: accommodation lesson - 2 hours

2. Lesson to prepare for passing control standards - 2 hours

3. Control tests: standing long jump, 50m speed run, long jump with sprint, endurance run - 2 hours

4. Selection for sports games (basketball, volleyball, handball, football) - 2 hours

5. Start from the bottom and launch from the start-repeat. Basketball (football). Running school exercises - 2 hours

6. Half runner step, repeat. Basketball (football) launching the counter-attack, defense in the area - 2 hours

7. Long jump from the spot, repetition, fundamentals. Exercises from running school, repetition. Upper body strength development - 2 hours

8. Long jump from the spot, repeat. Man-to-man defence (basketball, football). Mobility development - 2 hours

9. Speed running: developing reaction speed. Skill development: sports games. Rehearsing the system of play in attack - 2 hours

10. Exercises to develop upper body strength. Perfecting the attacking system - 2 hours

11. Exercises to develop lower body strength. Rehearsal of the defensive system - 2 hours

12. Strength development at speed. Sports games - developing reaction speed. Perfecting the defensive game system - 2 hours

13. Control tests: push-ups, abdominal muscle strength 30, back muscle strength 30. 5x5 game (basketball), football - 2 hours

14. Control tests - retakes - 5x5 game (basketball), football - 2 hours

15. 5x5 game (basketball) , football - 2 hours

 

Semester II:

1. Re-adjusting the body to physical effort. Exercises for suppleness, mobility, skill. Sports games - 2 hours

2. Development of abdominal muscles and upper body. Sports games: zone defence - 2 hours

3. The running step launched by speed. Long jump with sprint, repeat. Sports games: man-to-man defence - 2 hours

4. Development of lower body muscles and general skill. Sports games: crossing, exchange of opponents - 2 hours

5. Long jump from the spot, repeat. Back muscle development. Sports games: bilateral game - 2 hours

6. Developing general mobility. Sports games: (technical circuit: passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding) - 2 hours

7. Development of back muscles and specific mobility. Endurance running in varied tempos - 2 hours

8. Developing flexibility and coordination. Endurance running (students 7, students 9) - 2 hours

9. Push-ups control rules. Long jump with sprint, repetition. Sports games - 2 hours

10. 50m speed run (control standard). Mobility development. Sports games - 2 hours

11. Long jump from a standing position; mobility (control rules). Development of abdominal and back muscle strength - 2 hours

12. Abdominal muscle strength 30; back muscle strength 30 (control standards). Development of resistance in varied tempos. Sports games - 2 hours

13. Endurance running (students 7-10 :students 9-12 control standards). Sports games - 2 hours

14. Control standards, rework. Sports games - 2 hours

15. Sports games - 2 hours

10. Strength development in resistance mode. Bilateral 5x5 (basketball), football - 2 hours

11. Strength development of the upper body muscles. Bilateral 5x5 game (basketball), football - 2 hours
