The anniversary proceedings will commence at 09:00 in the Aula Magna with the official opening ceremony of the UMF Craiova Days. This event will convene faculty members, students, researchers, alumni, and distinguished guests to honor the trajectory of an institution that has dedicated nearly three decades to the education and training of healthcare professionals.

The year 2026 represents a milestone of significant symbolic value for the entire academic community, marking the 50th anniversary of the graduation of the inaugural cohort from the Faculty of Medicine in Craiova.

The class of 1976 constitutes the founding generation of modern medicine in Craiova, having paved the way for thousands of physicians subsequently trained within this medical school.

At 11:00, the Doctoral Students' Conference will commence in the "Mihai Ioana" Amphitheater. This forum is dedicated to the emerging generation of young scholars engaged in advanced medical research and the preservation of the academic legacy established by their predecessors.

In the evening, at 19:00, the "Casa Medicului și Farmacistului" (The Physicians' and Pharmacists' Club) will host the Anniversary Collegial Reception.
