Everyday is IBD Day!
🟣The team of doctors involved in the Centre Dedicated to Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD-UMFCv) at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Craiova met yesterday (23 May 2024) as part of the Everyday is IBD Day Campaign!
🟣The doctors reviewed the work of the Centre in its 3 years of existence and discussed the development and efficiency strategy for the coming year. It is clear that the multidisciplinary team is the key to therapeutic success, and the IBD-UMFCv Centre has achieved the performance of having state-of-the-art equipment, as well as doctors experienced in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases: gastroenterologists, surgeons, imagists, rheumatologists, dermatologists, pneumologists, clinical pharmacists, psychologists, nutritionists, specialized nurses. They work at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy and/or the Craiova Emergency Clinical Hospital.
🟣The IBD-UMFCv Centre has a consultation room, an on-line teleconference consultation room, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, an imaging centre (3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography) and a staff connection with the University Clinics of the Craiova Emergency Hospital.
