The students of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova are invited to participate in the photo contest organized by the Discipline of Genetics and the Regional Center of Medical Genetics Dolj. 

Present rare diseases through your lens: what you know, how you see, how you feel and what you do about them and for them, rare people.

• Let's define "RARE" (through visual synonyms)
• How would you visually illustrate a rare disease without using obvious medical images?
• Rare does not mean invisible - the ordinary but rare people around us
• "Having a disease is not the same as being a disease" - let's put on our PEOPLE and MEDIC glasses (situations associated with a diagnosis)
• The 'atypical' side of DNA - this mysterious inner beauty (how and what we can learn from rare disease patients) 

5 prizes will be awarded:

"Rare DNA" Award (First Prize)

"Rare But Not Alone" Award (Second Prize)

"Genetic Diversity Award" (Third Prize)

Special Mentions:

"Jigsaw Prize" (for an overall approach)

"Uniqueness Award" (for an original vision)

Jury

The jury members are teachers from the Genetics Discipline (University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova) and specialists from the Genetics Discipline and the Regional Center of Medical Genetics Dolj.
