ATI scenarios

High-fidelity, portable, wirelessly-controlled, high-fidelity simulator showing dynamic airways and lung compliance, fully responsive during transportation

Technical features:

Displaceable technology, which allows the communication systems, compressor and power supply to be incorporated into the simulator, eliminating external tubing, cables and compressors.

Allows the use of real devices: connect the simulator directly to a real ventilation system. A real monitor for 12-lead ECG recording, pulse oximeter, blood pressure cuff, external defibrillator and real external pacemaker can be used.

General:

  • Power supply from an internal rechargeable battery or fixed plug;
  • Wireless tablet-controllable simulator - coverage up to 300 meters;
  • Pre-programmed scenarios can be used, or you can create your own quickly and easily;

Respiratory tree:

  • Programmable respiratory tree: lingual and pharyngeal edema, laryngospasm;
  • Numerous upper airway sounds synchronized with breathing;
  • Allows endotracheal intubation and retrograde intubation;
  • Intubation on the right main bronchus;
  • Intubation depth detection sensors;
  • Perform the Sellick maneuver to highlight the vocal cords;
  • Realistic trachea - allows tracheostomy and needle cricothyroidotomy.

Breathing:

  • Control of breathing rate and depth of breathing;
  • Separate lung sounds for each lung, at the level of the hemithorax, both upper and lower, anterior and posterior;
  • Thoracic chest sounds and breath sounds synchronized with breathing patterns;
  • CO2 exhalation during exhalation (4 levels) - refillable cartridge, mounted inside the simulator;
  • Assisted ventilation with real mechanical fans;
  • Bilateral chest enlargement;
  • Unilateral chest enlargement - simulated pneumothorax;
  • Needle decompression, intercostal space II, bilateral;
  • Dynamic respiratory tree and lung compliance/resistance;
  • 10 levels of static compliance; 15 - 50 ml/cm H2O
  • 10 levels of respiratory tree strength;
  • Supports PEEP between 5 - 20 cm H2O
  • Possibility to assist the ventilator at different breathing rates;
  • The compliance and strength of the breathing tree may change during the use of the artificial ventilation system.

Cord:

  • Real-time ECG generation with physiological variations;
  • Auscultation of heart sounds, synchronized with ECG recording;
  • View 12-lead ECG in dynamic;
  • 12-lead ECG with integrated acute myocardial infarction (AMI) module.

Circulation:

  • Blood pressure measurable by palpatory or auscultatory method with real equipment
  • Korotkoff noise;
  • Oxygen saturation measurable with real oximeters;
  • Pulse palpation regions;
  • Pulse synchronized with heart rate and BP;
  • Vascular network in both arms for intravenous access;
  • Regions for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections;
  • Intraosseous access to the tibia;
  • ECG monitoring with real devices;
  • Defibrillation, cardioversion and pacing with real devices;
  • Numerous noises and heart rates;
  • ECG rhythm generated in real time;
  • Heart sounds synchronized with ECG;
  • Bilateral carotid, brachial, radial, femoral, popliteal and pedal pulses, synchronized with ECG;
  • Pulse varies with BP, is continuous and synchronized with ECG even during pacing

Controlled by instructor or on Automatic mode:

  • Vital parameters are generated in real time;
  • Drug library;
  • The use of medication influences the patient's condition in real time, simulating real clinical situations.

Medication recognition system:

  • Identifies the drug and volume delivered to the venous network of the right hand and forearm;
  • Delivered with 100 syringes with wireless tags;
  • The medication contained in the library can be used, or other medications can be added using templates in the system.

Neurological response:

  • The eyes can be controlled automatically (via the physiological model) or directly, manually (by the instructor);
  • You can select the pupillary response to light stimulation.

Language:

  • Streaming audio wireless;
  • One can create and record voice replies in any language.

Vital functions monitor:

  • Wireless tablet control;
  • Use default configuration, or customization, to simulate a real monitor;
  • Image distribution: ultrasounds, CT scans, lab results;
  • Touchscreen control;
  • The monitor can be configured by the instructor to fit the scenario.

Joints and mobility:

  • Seizures.

Other:

  • Central cyanosis;
  • Urinary reservoir; Foley catheterization;
  • Interchangeable genitalia;
  • Nasogastric probe;
  • Auscultation bowel sounds.

User interface:

  • Sensors to track student activity;
  • Condition changes and interventions are time-framed and recorded;
  • Wireless tablet plus vital signs monitor
  • 26 pre-programmed scenarios, which can be modified by the instructor even while they are running;
  • Create your own scenarios using the Add / Edit functions;
  • Change the simulator state even while the scenario is running.
