Surgical techniques

Haptic virtual simulator for laparoscopic surgery

Features:

High-performance laparoscopic techniques can only be perfected through practice. With the help of the system, complete techniques and procedures can be practiced without interruption, increasing the level of difficulty, with thousands of new challenges, scenarios and complications to make each experience unique.

The simulator includes:

  • a hardware interface with haptic technology (with tactile feedback, for the operation of force-return gripping tools and camera operation)
  • video camera
  • computer with Windows operating system and monitor
  • task-adapted training software modules and anatomical camera training
  • height-adjustable mobile trolley to accommodate the system
  • pedal needed to operate cutting tools
