Full-term pregnancy belly

It is possible to simulate labor with the fetus in pelvic presentation, in order to prepare the medical staff for this type of birth. The simulator allows the use of techniques specific to this type of birth, including the Pinard maneuver. Alternatively, the Zavanelli maneuver can be performed while the manikin is moved to the operating room for emergency caesarean section surgery

  2. The caesarean section abdomen is designed as a multilayered skin assembly, including a subcutaneous layer with simulated blood, fascia, rectus muscle and peritoneum.
  3. Allows caesarean section to be performed using real surgical cutting and suturing instruments

  1. One can use real instruments like vacuum or forceps. 

Postpartum

Full control

  • The simulator control software offers ease of use, even with the most difficult simulation programs. The software is pre-installed on a wireless PC tablet that comes with the simulator
  • The tablet offers easy control of the simulator from nearby, from a control room or from anywhere up to 90 meters away.
  • The user interface contains a command screen for labor and delivery, patient and fetal monitor, a 3D animation of the patient, a screen for editing and running the labor scenario, a report file, a record of activities, and more. The labor and delivery control screen is an intuitive interface with options and commands for changing or scheduling these phases.
  • Simulations can start quickly by selecting one of over 30 pre-programmed labor and delivery scenarios
