The Simulation Center of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Craiova, officially opened on October 1st, 2019, is a modern facility designed for the practical training of students. Located in Building B (New Building) at no. 66, 1st May Boulevard, the center has 19 simulation rooms, spread over three floors, with a capacity of about 400 students simultaneously.

Equipped with the latest technologies, the center offers students hands-on experiences in medical procedures using virtual reality and simulation tools. The Simulation Center was developed under the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, with a total investment of 10,642,418.96 lei (~2.3 million euro), aiming to improve the educational infrastructure of UMF Craiova by acquiring high-performance equipment.
